Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital (KRH) is all set to start chemotherapy services and has opened noting the names the patients who require the service.
According to KRH those who wish to avail the service will be able to enroll from June 19 onwards. Media Officer of KRH Mohamed Moosa stated that they are receiving a positive response from public.
Moreover, he stated that the people of the area had earlier availed the chemotherapy service for cancer patients have to travel Male’ city and since it was a huge burden for the patients and their families, they wanted to ease the burden that the people were carrying.
In addition, Mohamed Moosa stated that the set-up for providing the service has been built with the assistance of Hulhumale’ Hospital and the nurses required provide the service have also been trained. He further stated that in the future, more staff will be trained and efforts will be made to enhance the skills of the employees.
