Nolhivaram Club Huvasa has won the match against Naivaadhoo Trainers Sports Club played at Kulhudhuffushi Championship 2023 Football Tournament organized by Kulhudhuffushi City Council.
In the eighth match of the tournament played at Kulhudhuffushi Zone Stadium yesterday evening Huvasa won the match against Naivaadhoo Trainers Sports Club 2-1. Saalim Mohamed from Huvasa was selected as the best player of the match.
Moreover, in the ninth match of the tournament Club Corals will compete againstĀ Hirafus Sports Club. The match is scheduled to be played today 1600hrs at Kulhudhuffushi Zone Stadium.
The objectives of organizing the tournament include providing an opportunity to all football lovers, including the youth of Kulhudhuffushi, to enhance the football skills of the youth, to produce youth who play football at the national level in the city and to make the city a supportive island for the development of football. Taking football to a new level in the city and keeping the youth away from crime are also the objectives of organizing the tournament.
In addition, the winning team will be awarded with MVR 60,000 while the runners-up will get MVR 15,000. And cash prizes and trophies will be given to other selected winners from matches and tournament.
