The match played between Hirafus Sports Club and Naivaadhoo Trainers Sports Club in the Kulhudhuffushi Championship 2023 Football Tournament organized by Kulhudhuffushi City has ended in a draw.
In the fourth match of the tournament played at Kulhudhuffushi Zone Stadium yesterday evening between Hirafus and Naivaadhoo Trainers ended in a 1-1 draw. Mohamed Rishan from Naivaadhoo Trainers was selected as the best player of the match.
Moreover, in the fifth match of the tournament Zigzag for Youth Linkage will compete againstĀ Maattey Sports. The match is scheduled to be played today 1600hrs at Kulhudhuffushi Zone Stadium.
The objectives of organizing the tournament include providing an opportunity to all football lovers, including the youth of Kulhudhuffushi, to enhance the football skills of the youth, to produce youth who play football at the national level in the city and to make the city a supportive island for the development of football. Taking football to a new level in the city and keeping the youth away from crime are also the objectives of organizing the tournament.
In addition, the winning team will be awarded with MVR 60,000 while the runners-up will get MVR 15,000. And cash prize and trophies will be given to other selected winners from matches and tournament.
