Ha. Kelaa Council has released the permanent list of applicants applied for land plots to be used for housing.
According to a publication in the Government Gazette by the council, the permanent list has been published based on complaints received for the temporary list from applicants who had applied for 33 land plots to be provided for housing.
Kelaa Council had earlier stated that 262 applicants had applied for 33 land plots from the island. Initially, Kelaa Council announced for the application process for eligible candidates on November 25, 2021. The announcement was later revoked and reopened on December 8.
Moreover, it has also been decided that the land plots will be given based on applicants who meets the criteria and who attained the highest marks, while if the marks of two or more applicants are equal, then the land plot will be allotted by taking a draw among them.
In addition, Kelaa council has also noted that only those with at least 50 points will get the land plots.
