Kumundhoo Council Futsal Challenge 2023 to be held on October

Kumundhoo Council Futsal Challenge 2023, organized by HDh. Kumundhoo is scheduled to begin in October this year.

While the council has announced that the second edition of Kumundhoo Council Futsal Challenge will be held this year, the tournament is scheduled to begin on October 15. The council stated they would be opening opportunity to participating in the tournament on a later date.

Kumundhoo Council has stated that the purpose of holding a futsal competition is to establish unity and harmony among the athletes of the island, inculcate the spirit of sports, create the talented athletes in the island, and provide more opportunities to develop the skills of the emerging athletes.

Xeeru Sports Club was the winner of the first edition of Kumundhoo Council Futsal Challenge. Last year, the council gave a cash prize of MVR 10,000 to the winning team.
