82% of Ha. Hoarafushi Road Construction Project completed

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated 82% of Ha. Hoarafushi Road Construction Project has been completed.

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that pavement installation work is currently underway at the site, and 95% of asphalt laying work has been completed.

Under the project, 11 roads, a total area of 5.3 kilometers will be developed and an area of 25909 square meters will be levelled and paved. And, 11114 square meter pavement will be constructed along with the water drainage system. In addition, installation of street lights and road signs.

The project is worth MVR 71.9 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
