Quran and English classes are planned to be held for adults in Sh. Foakaidhoo.
According to Foakaidhoo Council member Sadha Shaheem, classes are scheduled to be held in August, however, the exact dates for the classes are yet to be finalized.
Moreover, she stated that classes will be taken by professionals who are in the island and participation is completely free of cost. But classes will be conducted only if at least 20 people participates in the classes. Also, if there are more than 20 participants classes will be conducted in batches.
Furthermore, according to Sadha, only citizens of the island can participate in the classes and classes had to be attended physically. In addition, Sadha noted that this is the first such classes to be held in Foakaidhoo.
