Sh. Foakaidhoo Health Center outer wall construction project awarded to contractor

Ministry of Health has awarded Sh. Foakaidhoo Health Center outer wall construction project and some of the works to be carried out at the Health Center to contractor.

The Ministry of Health has awarded these works to Meehaf Construction Investment. Komandoo MP Mohamed Rashid (Rado), who represents Foakaidhoo in the Parliament, was also present at the signing ceremony.

The MVR 791,150.41 project was awarded to Meehaf Construction Investment to be completed on 90 days.

Speaking on the project, Foakaidhoo Council stated that, they are pleased to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of the government in the development of the health sector. Moreover, council noted that Foakaidhoo Health Center extention project has been completed and they have modern paramedic ambulance in use at islands Health Center.

In addition to the positive changes made in the salaries of health workers, the island council also highlighted that the government has done a lot of work to improve the health sector.
