Board of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has decided to distribute MVR 4 as dividends per share.
Company stated that a MVR 4 will be distributed from total dividend of MVR 32.15 million, which is the highest dividend declared in company’s 42 years history.
The company passed the figure at the board meeting. The amount of dividends to be distributed will be passed with the vote of shareholders at this year’s Annual General Meeting, scheduled to be held on June 20.
According to MTCC, shareholders who have registered themselves as shareholders before April 12, 2023, will receive last year’s dividend. The company had earned MVR 200.9 million last year. And earned MVR 2.4 billion in revenue.
Last year MTCC distributed MVR 3.50 as dividend.
