HDh. Makunudhoo Children’s Park Development Project awarded to contractor

Green and Technology has been awarded to develop a children’s park in HDh. Makunudhoo.

According to the President of Makunudhoo Council Auzam Adam the agreement was signed with the contractor yesterday and the project is worth MVR 994,000. 

Moreover, he stated that an additional time frame has been given to procure the materials required for the project and the project should be completed within 45 days from the date of commencement of work.

He further stated that the project was awarded after a bidding process. A total of parties submitted the bid for the project and the project was awarded to the most capable and lowest price.

In addition, both the Youth Ministry and State Trading Organization (STO) has already donated equipment and materials required for carrying out the project, therefore Auzam thanked the STO for their support.

The park will have facilities to play a variety of children-related games and there will be an area for senior citizens to sit and enjoy as well.
