Prices decided for owning and selling land plots used for living in Ha. Dhidhdhoo

Ha. Dhidhdhoo Council has decided the prices for owning and purchasing/selling of land plots given for the citizens of the island for living.

According to the council, they have decided fee of MVR 50 per square feet, if the citizens are paying a one-time payment to purchase and own the land plots used/given for living purposes. And if the payments to be made in long-term in installments rate will be MVR 60 per square feet.

The regulations to owning and selling the land plot used/given for living were passed at the 109th general meeting of the council’s fourth term.

Dhidhdhoo is the capital of the northern Thiladhunmathi Atoll. Island is also the most populated island in the atoll. Currently the island have a population of more than 4,200 people.
