Al-Hafiza Bassama Sulaiman has won the ‘KD Enterprises Dhidhdhoo Emme Aligadha Thari 1444’ Quran Competition organized by Dhidhdhoo Middle Sports Club.
Bassama also made it to the finals last year’s competition and she finished on fourth place. Last year Shiura Ibrahim won the first place and was selected as the Dhidhdhoo Emme Aligadha Thari 1443. The grand finale show was held at Thila Uthuru Maalam of Haa Atoll Education Center on the night of April 7, 2023.
The winner of the competition was awarded with an Umrah trip as a prize, while for the second place also was awarded with an Umrah trip by a well-wisher.

- Maryam Mahaa Mohamed (2nd Place)
- Hussain Shahban (3rd Place)
- Mariyam Azaa Adil (4th Place)
- Abdulla Zain bin Mohamed (5th Place)
The grand finale show of the tournament was graced by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid. The event was also attended by heads of government institutions in Dhidhdhoo.
