Haa Alifu Atoll Council has open applications for the ‘Thila Uthuru Award 2023’.
The Thila Uthuru Award is given to individuals who have made valuable contributions to Haa Atoll in various fields, those who have made outstanding contributions to the atoll, students who have achieved awards/recognitions in schools of the atoll, the best serving resort in the atoll, and the most governing island councils, Women’s Development Committees of the atoll, Clubs and NGOs.
The Thila Uthuru Award will be given in a total of six categories. These areas are Thila Uthuru Award of Honor, Thila Uthuru Award of Recognition, Thila Uthuru Special Award, Thila Uthuru Outstanding Award, Thila Uthuru Special Service Award, and Thila Uthuru Administrative/Operational Award.
Therefore, Atoll Council requested interested and eligible candidates to submit the completed application form before 1300hrs of April 27, 2023. Moreover, the rules and all forms related to the award will be available on the atoll council’s website.
The award ceremony is scheduled to be held on May 21 at 2100hrs at the Haa Atoll Council.
