Ha. Utheemu council has opened opportunity to participate in Tour Guide Training Course to be held in collaboration with Villa College.
According to the announcement by the council, opportunity is open for all the islands of atoll to participate in the course. Course will be held for a 3 month period. Council stated that classes timing will be arranged depending on participation from other islands as they will schedule classes referring to the RTL ferry schedule from those islands.
Moreover, only 30 slots will be available for the course. However, course will be conducted only if minimum 15 participants applied for the course. Further, an allowance of MVR 2000 will be provided by the government based on the attendance of the participants.
Therefore, council request to submit completed application form to the reception of the council or via email to [email protected] before 1300hrs of April 10, 2023. Application forms will be available from council’s reception and Villa College’s website. Further information can be clarified by contacting 6500038 or 7531168.
