The Top 10 contestants of the ‘KD Enterprises Dhidhdhoo Emme Aligadha Thari 1444’ Quran Competition organized by Dhidhdhoo Middle Sports Club has reached to the final.
Initially competition was organized in a way that the top 5 contestants to reach the final after the performances of seconf night of second round.
However, after the second night of the second round of the competition held at March 31, 2023, night as the results of the 10 contestants on the show were on very narrow margin, it was decided after consultation with the tournament’s organizing committee and the tournament judges that the ten contestants would be given chance in the final round of the tournament.
Competition’s top 10 contestants of the were selected after the performances of first night of second round held on March 30, 2023, night at Thila Uthuru Maalam of Haa Atoll Educational Center in Dhidhdhoo.
According to Middle Sports Club, purposes of the competition are to inculcate love for reciting the Holy Quran in the hearts of the people of island, to revive the art of reciting the Holy Quran in according to Tajweed, encouraging to memorize the Holy Quran, to encourage the developing Qari’s and Hafiz’s. In addition to develop participants who can compete at national and international competitions and since it is the holy month of Ramadan, to increase awareness about Quran.
The final of the competition is scheduled to be held on the night of April 6 and 7. This is the second edition of ‘Dhidhdhoo Emme Aligadha Thari’ organized by Middle Sports Club.
