HDh. Kumundhoo Women’s Development Committee (WDC) has opened the opportunity to participate in a Quran Competition to be held in the island during the upcoming Month of Ramadan.
The objectives of conducting the competition is to inculcate love for the Quran in the minds of the women of the island.
The competition targeted for the women of the island is planned to be held in two age groups. The two age groups are between 18 and 35 years of age and above 35 years of age. In each group, the first and second and third place will be selected and will be awarded with cash prizes. First place will be awarded with MVR1500, second place with MVR1000, and third place will be awarded with MVR500.
The competition organizers are requested to submit applications to the Kumundhoo Council before 1400 hrs of March 20. Application forms will be available from Kumundhoo Council.
