Junior Championship 2023: HDH AEC won the second match against Hiriya School

Haa Dhaalu Atoll Education Center (HDH AEC) has won their second match of ongoing Maldives Basketball Association (MBA) Junior Championship 2023.

In the second match of HDH AEC, played at the Basket Court of Male’ Youth Centre yesterday, against Hiriya School, HDH AEC won the match by a huge margin of 36 – 19. Moreover, HDH AEC defeated Thaajuddeen School in the opening match of the tournament to become the first team from an atoll to win a match against a Male’ School.

The HDH AEC won the match by winning all the quarters of the match. The first quarter was won by 8 – 5, second quarter by 10 – 3, third quarter by 10 – 4, and the final quarter was won by a narrow margin of 8 – 7.

In the third match of the Tournament HDH AEC will play against Majeediyya School tonight at 1945hrs at the Youth Centre Basketball Court.
