Sh. Maaungoodhoo Shore Protection Project has been awarded to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (MoNPHI).
At the ceremony held to award the project, COO of MTCC Shahid Hussain Moosa signed agreement on behalf of MTCC and Permanent Secretary. Zeeniya Hameed signed on behalf of Ministry.

Under the project to protect the shore area of Maaungoodhoo MTCC have to construct a 450 meter revetment.
The MVR 14.93 million project is awarded to MTCC to be completed within 120 days.

In addition, B. Maalhos Harbour Repair and Shore Protection project was also awarded to the company with a budget of 69.47 to be completed in 450 days.
