Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has opened opportunity to purchase land plots to develop office buildings in Hulhumale’.
According to the company, five plots of land will be sold for the construction of the office building. Three plots of 6,100 square feet each and two plots of 9,600 square feet each are to be sold for the construction of office buildings in Hulhumale’.
HDC stated that these land plots will be sold to 100% local businesses. Bidding for these land plots will begin at a rate of minimum MVR 4500 per square feet. Moreover, as a bid security for 6,100 square feet of land plots MVR 500,000 should be paid and for 9,600 square feet of land plots, MVR 1,000,000 should be paid as bid security.
Furthermore, these five land plots will be allocated from Tree Top area. The office buildings develop should include a commercial part, a basement parking area, and cafes and restaurants in the building.
Under this opportunity, those who wish to purchase the land plots have been given 10 days from February 27, 2023, to show interest and submit their proposals. Bids can be submitted through the portal on the HDC website.
