Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) laboratory has started lab equipment calibration services.
The service was launched at a function held on February 22, 2023, by Fisheries Minister Dr. Hussain Rasheed Haasan. Senior officials of MWSC were also present at the function.
Speaking on the occasion, MWSC Managing Director Hassan Shah stated that laboratory equipment calibrating services are essential to ensure the safety and security of water and sanitation services provided by utility service providers across the country. He added that the service will increase confidence in the results of tests conducted through equipment by maintaining equipment in line with international requirements of lab equipment.
Moreover, MWSC stated it will provide the new service in the Maldives with 100% trained local employees. The company further stated they will be able to prepare the packages according to the customer’s requirements through equipment and parameters providing lab equipment calibration services.
The service will be available to customers from MWSC or the company employee can visit the location of the equipment to provide the required services.
