Training program held for Imam’s and Khateeb’s of Ha. Atoll concluded

Training program held for Imam’s and Khateeb’s of Haa Alif Atoll concluded.

Training program held from February 16-19, 2023 in Ha. Dhidhdhoo was participated by 48 Imam’s and Khateeb’s from islands of the atoll. The program was taught by renowned Scholars and Qari’s in the field, including three Scholars and Qari’s.

The main objective of the program is to enhance the knowledge, skills and capabilities of the imams, as they are the ones who leads the prayers in the mosques along with the general public.

Moreover, in the program participants were provided with detailed information regarding prayers, work ethics, how to communicate with others properly, what to consider what to consider while performing Khutbah, and briefed on civil service regulations regarding Imams.

As the program is targeted across the country, more such programs will be conducted in other atolls in the future. Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali handed over certificates to the participants at the end of the program.
