Ooredoo Annual General Meeting to be held on March 8

Ooredoo Maldives has scheduled its Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held at Crossroads Maldives on March 8, 2023, at 2030hrs.

According to Ooredoo Maldives, only those registered as shareholders of the company before February 16, 2023 will be able to participate in this year’s AGM. Moreover, all persons (including legal entities) registered as shareholders of the Company before 1400hrs of February 16, 2023 are eligible to receive dividends, attend the AGM of the Company in person or by proxy, and to participate and vote in person or by proxy.

According to Ooredoo, only Shareholders who Pre-Register to attend or appoint a Proxy, before 2030hrs of March 6, 2023, will be able to participate at the AGM. Ooredoo noted that shareholders who can attend physically to the AGM will be limited to 120 shareholders, and from those who request to participate in the AGM physically, will be informed before 1800hrs of March 7, if they can attend physically or have to attend online. 

Shareholders attending the AGM online will need to participate through the Online Meeting Management System “FahiVote” of the Maldives Securities Depository Company Pvt Ltd (MSD).

Furthermore, details and relevant documents related to the Agenda or the AGM and the Pre-Registration Form, Proxy Form and Proxy Revocation Form will be available from Ooredoo website via the link http://www.ooredoo.mv/investors/ 

Eligible Shareholders are requested to pre-register their attendance by submitting a “Pre-Registration Form”. Shareholders who wish to appoint a proxy to attend the AGM on their behalf may do so by submitting a “Proxy Form”. The appointment of a proxy can be revoked by submitting a “Proxy Revocation Form”. Registration can be done before 2030hrs of March 6, 2023, through MSD’s online system “Infinity” https://infinity.mv/ or by submitting the form(s) by e-mail to [email protected] or to Ooredoo Maldives Plc’s Office at 6th Floor, H. Sunleet, Boduthakurufaanu Magu, Male’, Republic of Maldives.

In addition, Ooredoo request shareholders and proxy’s to attend AGM and for departures on time as they cannot arrange alternative transport arrangements. Departure from Male’ (Jetty number 1) to Crossroads Maldives is at 1915hrs and 1930hrs, on March 8, 2023. AndShareholders and Proxy Holders attending the AGM online are requested to log in to “FahiVote” on the same day between 2015hrs and 2030hrs using the login details sent to the Shareholders/ Proxy Holders.
