Ha. Dhidhdhoo Council has opened opportunity to participate in ‘Dhidhdhoo Council Quran Competition 1444’ organized by the council.
The objectives of the competition are to inculcate the love of reading the Quran in the minds of the students, to revive the art of reading the Quran and to encourage them to learn the Quran and recite according to Tajweed. Moreover, working for the preservation of the Quran, spreading religious awareness, and preparing student from the island to atoll and national Quran competitions.
Furthermore, residents of Dhidhdhoo, residents of the island, Quran classes in the island and the students of the island’s schools will be allowed to participate in the competition. Competition will include both memorized and non-memorized category. Each participants have the opportunity to select one preferred category.
Those who wish to participate in the competition are requested to complete the application form and submit their applications to the Dhidhdhoo Council before 1400 hrs of March 9.
This is the 10th time that the Dhidhdhoo Council is hosting this Quran competition.
