Golden Futsal Challenge: Utheemu, Ha. Atoll Champions

Ha Utheemu are the champions of Haa Alifu Atoll ‘Sonee Sports Golden Futsal Challenge 2023’.

The final match was played at at Hulhumale’ Futsal Ground (Near Rehendhi School) and Ha. Utheemu defeated Ha. Filladhoo by 2-1 claiming their maiden trophy.

The first goal of the match was scored by Filladhoo. With just a few minutes before half-time, Filladhoo team Ihwan scored the first goal of the match. However, Aiham from Utheemu scored the equalizer for Utheemu in the first minute of second half. And winning goal for Utheemu was scored by Rishwan just before five minutes from the end of the match.

Utheem’s Aiham was selected as the best player of the match while Sajid Rasheed of the Vashafaru team was the top scorer of the tournament with six goals. And Filladhoo team, Mohamed Husham was selected the best player of the Tournament.

This is the first time Utheemu has participated in the Golden Futsal Challenge.
