Nine recipients from Bodu Thiladhunmathi has received National Award for Public Service.
During the special ceremony held at Dharubaaruge on Thursday night, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih evening conferred the National Award for Public Service on 86 public servants.
The National Award for Public Service is the highest honor bestowed by the President on people who have served the country for more than 35 years and who are regarded as diligent and steadfast workers who have made contributions to the growth of their respective fields. The award was introduced in 2021.

The recipients were chosen by the National Awards Committee, and 25 of them were women. The recipients included civil servants who had served in various capacities in government offices and institutions. Speaking at the function, President Solih extended his congratulations to the recipients.
