Vice President departs to UAE to attend the World Government Summit 2023

Vice President Faisal Naseem set out on an official visit to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Sunday to attend the World Government Summit 2023.

Vice President is travelling to the UAE at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The summit takes place from February 13-15, 2023.

The World Government Summit this year will emphasize six key themes while concentrating on creating a brighter future for humanity. It would bring together international leaders, specialists from throughout the world, and decision-makers to share ideas and contribute to policies and models for development that would be crucial in defining future governments.

The Vice President is set to speak at the Future of Work Forum and attend the “Maldives Leadership Programme” launch during the visit. This is a section of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that the Maldives and UAE governments signed last year.

He is scheduled to conclude his visit and travel back to the Maldives on February 16, 2023.
