han is planning to organize a Volleyball Tournament for the Women of the island.
Speaking about the tournament, President of Hanimaadhoo Zuvaanunge Jamiyya Hussain Waheed stated that they will open the opportunity to participate in the tournament during this month and the tournament scheduled to begin early next month. And once things are finalized, the dates will be made public without further delay.
The objectives of organizing the tournament are to inculcate and revive the spirit of the sports among the women of Hanimaadhoo, to enhance their volleyball skills, to improve unity among people, and allow them to play volleyball in a competitive environment.
Hanimaadhoo Zuvaanunge Jamiyya, which was registered in 1993, has been working for the development of the island since they were established. Moreover, they have won the National Award in 2016. This is the 30th consecutive year that the organization has been running unabated.
