Ma Sh. Milandhoo Council has advised residents of the island not use Harbour Pavement Bricks Pallets in the Island’s Harbour area for playing purposes.
According to the notice issued by the council, they have noticed that several children are using these Pallets placed at the Island’s Harbour area for playing purposes.
Moreover, council noted that metal strips used for packing these pallets are now rusted. Since it is rusted while climbing and using these pallets for playing, if a strip is cut and a pallet is torn, it is possible to cause an injury to the children.
Therefore, council advised not to use these pallets for playing and parents are also been advised not to allow children to play in the area.
