Agreement has been signed to set up a swimming platform in four islands, including Ha. Hoarafushi and HDh. Hanimaadhoo.
The swimming platforms will be set up in Ha. Hoarafushi, HDh. Hanimaadhoo, GA. Villingili, and Addu City Maradhoo-Feydhoo. The Ministry of Youth Sports and Community Empowerment has awarded the projects to Swimming Association of Maldives. Minister of State for Youth Mohamed Nasih Rasheed signed the agreement on behalf of the Youth Ministry and Vice president of Swimming Association of Maldives Ismail Ali signed on behalf of the Swimming Association of Maldives.
Ha. Hoarafushi and HDh. Hanimaadhoo project has been awarded at a cost of more than MVR 1.32 million. GA. Villingili project has been awarded at a cost of more than MVR 1.47 million, while the Addu City Maradhoo-Feydhoo project has been awarded for more than MVR 1.72 million.
Projects were awarded to be completed in 75 days.
