Sh. Feydhoo Council has announced they are looking for a contractor to design a Monument which represent the island.
According to the announcement by the council, to showcase labor work of citizens of the island, and to enabling an easier way to visitors to identify the island.
Feydhoo is home to fishing, and several talented working, friendly people. Most of the youth in the island are working in tourism sectors. The island is a clean island with different species of plants. Therefore, council urges us to consider the points made in designing a monument representing the island.
Moreover, among the proposed monument designs, the council will give a cash prize of MVR 5,000 to the applicant with best design.
Therefore, interested parties are requested to submit their designs via mail ([email protected]) before 1400hrs of February 15.
