Sh. Feydhoo Shore Protection Project has been awarded to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (MoNPHI).

At the ceremony held to award the project, CEO of MTCC Adam Azim signed agreement on behalf of MTCC and Director General Fathimath Shaana Farooq signed on behalf of Ministry.

Under the project to protect the shore area of Feydhoo MTCC have to add 21023 cubic meters of sand to beach, 670 meters of Geobag revetment will be carried out and 60 meters of groynes will be constructed. And an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) will be carried out before commencing the project.

The MVR 18.56 million project is awarded to MTCC to be completed within 280 days.
