Technical information program to be held for Ha. Uligamu Farmers

A program is scheduled to be held in Ha. Uligamu to provide technical information to farmers.

According to a announcement by the Uligamu Council, this program will be held in collaboration with The Maldives Agribusiness Program (MAP). And the information would be provided by agriculture ministry officials who would visit the island.

The council stated that officials from the ministry will visit the agricultural lands in the island and meet the farmers and give them technical advice on the crops they want to farm and grow. And council noted that they would find the diseases in the farm, and inform farmers how to prevent those diseases. Also technical assistance will be provided to the farmers to further clarify the information they needed and resolve their problems.

Therefore, council request farmers who need agricultural-related information and technical assistance to note down their names before 1000hrs of January 30, by contacting council (6500036) or by visiting.
