The National Airline of Maldives, Maldivian has stated that expired documents will not be allowed to be used for domestic flights after February 22, 2023.
Maldivian noted that after February 22, official documents Passport, ID card, work visa card, license card, airport security pass, and documents issued by the government with photograph and ID card number should be non-expired documents. Therefore, customers will not be able to fly domestic flights after that date with an expired document.
Moreover, Maldivian stated that the matter was brought to the notice of the passengers before the Defense Ministry’s circular issued in November last year in view of the Covid-19 situation came into force.
The Defense ministry had earlier made the change in view of the Covid-19 situation. The change, which was made at that time, would be revoked with effect from February 22, as per the circular issued in November last year.
