Basic Volleyball coaching camp held Sh. Funadhoo concluded

The basic volleyball coaching camp held for the Women’s of Sh. Funadhoo has been concluded.

Speaking about the camp, Women’s Development Committee (WDC) president Farzana Adam stated that the camp was conducted from January 3 to 17, and total of 21 women participated in the camp. Initially camp was scheduled for 10 days, however was extent to compensate for the ‘rest’ days.

The camp was held collaboratively by WDC and council, exclusively for the women of the island. Moreover, instructors were from the island who has previously completed basics of volleyball coaching. Furthermore, Farzana noted that purpose of the camp was to develop and refresh the skills of volleyball-playing girls in the village.

Certificates were handed over to the participants of the camp by Secretary General Azuma Ahmed. And Farzana handed over certificates to the instructors.
