82% of Sh. Bilehfahi Harbour Development Project completed

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the 82% of Sh. Bilehfahi Harbour Development Project has been completed.

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that revetment and harbour basin dredging works has been completed and works are going at a fast pace.

Under the project, the company has to dredge 50376 cubic meters of harbour basin, construction of a 376 meter breakwater, and 98 meter quay wall. In addition, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights, and construction of 1565 square meter paved area will be undertaken.

The value of the project is MVR 28.42 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
