The Ministry of Defence has announced that they are looking interested parties to build a temporary Fire Station in Ha. Dhidhdhoo.

As part of the project, an FRS substation will be set up in Dhidhdhoo to renovate the existing building and construct a new vehicle garage. The project involves repairing the windows of the existing building, changing the windows to be replaced, building the internal walls of the building, installation of ceiling, cement plastering on internal external walls, tiling, painting the inner and outer walls, repairing the toilets, electrical wires and water drains, AC, removing and installing new Rain Gutter System. Also constructing a vehicle garage using iron rods.

Companies registered up to Class VI of ‘General Building Contractors’ (GC01) of the Contractors’ Registry of the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure will be allowed to submit their estimates for the work.

Moreover, if there is any change in the information sheets regarding the project, it will be published on the ministry’s website. And Ministry requested those who wish to inquire further information regarding the project to mail [email protected] and it is the responsibility of the bidder to obtain the latest information.

Furthermore, as a bid security MVR 1747 should be submitted. Those who wish to submit their bids for the project are requested to visit the Ministry at 1300hrs on January 19 and submit the bids.
