46% of Asphalt paving for GA parking at VIA project completed

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that 46% of Asphalt paving for GA parking at Velaana International Airport (VIA) project has been completed.

MTCC also updated ongoing works stating that asphalt paving works are underway.

Under the project, the company has to install a 776 meter temporary fence, disposing of topsoil from 55,818 hectares of land, 8,372.70 hectares of land levelling works. Moreover, 55,818 cubic meters of subbase work, subgrade compact work on 8,372.70 hectares of land, and asphalt laying works on 55,818 hectares of land, 

The value of the project is MVR 91.45 million.
