Real Star and Ahulee are set to play in the final of Saabba Anniversary Cup 2022, organized by Saabba Ekuveri Club in Hanimaadhoo.
In the first semifinal match Ahulee won the match against Falcon 10-0. Hussain Shareef of Ahulee was selected as the best player of the match. And in the second match, Real Star won 4-0 against Youth Friends. Zamaau from Real star was selected as the best player of the match.
The third place selection match of the tournament is between Youth Friends and Falcon, who lost in the semifinals is scheduled to be played in the evening of January 4.
A total of seven teams participated in the tournament. The teams are Youth Friends, Uniforms, Ahulee, Real Stars, Rooh, Shields, and Falcon.
The tournament was planned by dividing teams into two groups and two teams with the highest points after the group stage to reach the semifinals. The final match of the tournament between Real Star and Ahulee is scheduled to play on January 5, 2023.
