Youth Friends against Real Star and Ahulee against Falcon are set to play in the semifinals of Saabba Anniversary Cup 2022, organized by Saabba Ekuveri Club in Hanimaadhoo.
A total of seven teams participated in the tournament. The teams are Youth Friends, Uniforms, Ahulee, Real Stars, Rooh, Shields, and Falcon.
The tournament is planned by dividing teams into two groups and two teams with the highest points after the group stage to reach the semifinals. The final match of the tournament is scheduled to play on January 5, 2023.
The group stage matches of the tournament concluded with Ahulee making it to the semi-finals as the top team in Group A and Youth Friends as the second in the group. Real Star topped Group B, while Falcon finished second.
In the first semi-final match of the tournament on January 1, Ahulee will play against Falcon at 1600hrs, and second semi-final match will be played on January 2, between Youth Friends and Real Star at 1600hrs.
