A total of 6 teams have participated in the Ghaazee Cup Football Tournament 2023 organized by the Ihavandhoo Masveringe Gulhun (Imagu).
The 6 teams participated in the Tournament are Future FC, NVK, FC Bodu Magu, Jungle, Kulhi Magu and Sencity. The tournament is organized by the Imagu in collabration with Ihavandhoo Police station aimed at the youth of the island.
According to Imagu, purpose of the tournament are to increase the interest of Football among the youth of Ihavandhoo, to strive to bring about a positive change through sports for the health and well-being of the youth, to provide more opportunities for the youth to take up sports and to promote friendship and harmony among the youth.
The matches will be played at the Ihavandhoo Ghaazee Football Ground. The tournament is scheduled to begin on January 01, 2023.
A cash prize of MVR 10,000 will be given to the winning team MVR 5,000 to the runners-up.
