6th International Teachers Conference held at Kulhudhuffushi City has been concluded.
According to Ministry of Education a total of 43 academic research papers from different fields were presented at the conference held in Kulhudhuffushi City from December 24, 2022 to December 25, 2022. Also four workshops and two panel discussions were conducted in the conference that were important to the field of education
More than 220 teachers, academicians and top professionals from across the country and abroad participated in this year’s conference. Foreign countries that participated in the conference included Bangladesh, India, Malaysia and Turkey.
The conference, which is held every two years, is the largest of its kind held in the Maldives by the National Institute of Education (NIE) for teachers. The first International Teachers Conference that was held in an atoll was held in Hithadhoo, Addu City in 2019. It has been ten years since the International Teachers Conferences started.
