‘Dhidhdhoo President Cup Hand Ball Tournament 2022’ commenced

‘Dhidhdhoo President Cup Hand Ball Tournament 2022’ has commenced.

Dhidhdhoo President Cup is a pledge of current Council President of Dhidhdhoo, Abdulla Rasheed. This is the second edition of the Handball Tournament as part of the Dhidhdhoo President Cup.

The tournament held for the women’s of the island began on Wednesday night with five teams. MVR 10000 will be given to the champion team of the tournament, MVR 2000 will be given to the runners-up team, and MVR 1000 will be given to the fair play team.

According to the President of Dhidhdhoo Council, purpose of the tournament is to empower the women of the island and increase the interest in the sport among the women and to produce good players.

President of Dhidhdhoo Council Abdulla Rasheed will be handling all finance of the tournament.
