Ministry of Finance has announced that that they are looking for interested parties to construct an Islamic Center in Ha. Dhidhdhoo, on request of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
According to the announcement, a non-refundable registration fee of MVR 500 will be required to participate in the bidding, which can be paid via Bandeyripay Portal before January 4, 2023. Once the payment is paid, bidders are requested to mail their name, address, contact number, e-mail address, and copy of payment receipt to [email protected]
Moreover, for the project as a bid security MVR 240,000 have to be submitted and bid security period will be 148 days from the date of opening of the bid. And all the documents related to the bidding will be available from Ministry’s website (www.finance.gov.mv) from December 27, 2022 onwards. Also any inquiry regarding the project can be clarified by mailing to above mentioned mail.
Furthermore, bids should be submitted on closed envelops. And name of the bid, bid opening date and time, and bidders name should be written outside of the envelope. The bid opening will be held at Ministry of Finance on January 9, 2023 at 1300hrs.
Bidding will be carried out as per Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure’s “Construction Contractors Regulation” Ministry of Finance’s “National Competitive Bidding (NCB)’ and the Ministry of Economic and Development’s “Foreign Direct Investment Policy”.
