‘Hashi Heyo Dhulha Heyo’ exercise program held at Ha. Ihavandhoo concluded

‘Hashi Heyo Dhulha Heyo’ exercise program held at Ha. Ihavandhoo has been concluded.

The program was conducted in collaboration with Ihavandhoo Women’s Development Committee (WDC), Ihavandhoo Club Polestar and Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF). 

The closing ceremony was held at Ihavandhoo School on December 15, 2022. Defence Minister Mariya Ahmed Didi presided over the ceremony. Minister Mariya, Chief of Defence Force Major General Abdulla Shamaal, Brigadier General Vice Waheed, Brigadier General Hamid Shafeeq and Acting Deputy Commander of MNDF Northern Area Command Major Ahmed Bhulaaq handed over certificates and prizes to the participants who completed the program.

Moreover, Ihavandhoo MP Mohamed Shifau, Henveiru South MP Hussain Shameem and Ihavandhoo Women’s Development Committee President Rashida also handed over the certificates and prizes to the participants.

Total 45 participants completed the program and MNDF officials from Northern Area Command were the instructors of the course.
