Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that Hanimaadhoo Harbour Development project is progressing at a fast pace
MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that 98% of payment works have been completed and concrete Jetty construction works are underway. And overall 93% of project has been completed.
Under the project to develop Hanimaadhoo Harbour MTCC has completed dredging of 53523 cubic meter of harbour basin, dredging of 31576 cubic meter from currently used harbour basin, construction of a 355 meter breakwater, a 50 meter revetment, and a 270 meter quay wall. In addition, the installation of navigation lights and installation of streetlights. And developing a 2583 square feet paved area is almost completed.
The project is worth MVR 69.05 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
