Aliens Queens has won the women’s category Futsal Tournament of Baarah Unity Cup Futsal Tournament 2022 organized by the Ha. Baarah Council.
The final match between Aliens Queens and Viora Super Queens was played on Sunday night at the Baarah Futsal ground. The Aliens Queens won the match 2-1 to clinch the title. Amsoodha Abbas of Aliens Queens, was selected as the player of the match.
The top five players from the Tournament are: Fathimath Hiyala – Aliens Queens, Aiminath Aboobakuru – Aliens Queens, Mariyam Thahmeena – Viora Super Queens, Aishath Sahula – Viora Super Queens, and Aiminath Samiha – Viora Super Queens. Aiminath Samiha of Viora Super Queens was the top scorer of the tournament, while Rishfa Rasheed of Team Fehi Thari was selected as the most promising player of the tournament.
Only three teams participated in the women’s category of the tournament. They are Aliens Queens, Viora Super Queens, and Team Fehi Thari.
This is the second time that the tournament has been organized by the Baarah Council. The objectives of the tournament are to inculcate the spirit of playing Futsal in the island and to promote harmony and friendship among the youth of the village.
