Opportunity opened to participate in Ghaazee Cup Football Tournament 2023 organized by Imagu

Ihavandhoo Masveringe Gulhun (Imagu) has opened applications to participate in the Ghaazee Cup Football Tournament 2023.

The Football tournament is organized by the Imagu in collabration with Ihavandhoo Police station aimed at the youth of the island.

According to Imagu, purpose of the tournament are to increase the interest of Football among the youth of Ihavandhoo, to strive to bring about a positive change through sports for the health and well-being of the youth, to provide more opportunities for the youth to take up sports and to promote friendship and harmony among the youth.

The matches will be played at the Ihavandhoo Ghaazee Football Ground. The tournament is scheduled to begin on January 01, 2023. Moreover, according to Imagu, opportunity will be given to the teams established at the island and institutions cannot take part in the tournament. However, residents of the island can form teams if they prefer.

A cash prize of MVR 10,000 will be given to the winning team MVR 5,000 to the runners-up. Imagu requests participatingr teams to complete the Google form that needs to be filled up to register the team and submit it by before December 20, 2022.
