An Indoor gym has been opened in Sh. Foakaidhoo.
The Ministry of Youth has provided all necessary equipment for the indoor gym that opened at Foakaidhoo Youth Center.
Apart from formally opening the gym, a program has also been launched to make people aware to the gym. In this regards, program will continue for 15 days with a gym instructor, will teach them the rules to follow at the gym and how to use all the equipment used in the gym safely.
The gym will be open on a daily basis and gym users will have to register through a Google form. Through the form, users can select the preferred time. After registration, a digital pass will be issued and sent to the user via Viber.
According to Foakaidhoo Council President Ahmed Asif a monthly fee will be charged from gym users and the price to be charged will also be made public soon. Asif also requested everyone to maintain cleanliness and to follow the rules while using the gym.
In addition, Foakaidhoo Council thanked the Ministry of Youth and President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih for providing all the necessary equipment for the gym.
