Ooredoo Maldives has donated televisions (TVs) to MNDF.

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ooredoo Maldives Khalid Al Hamadi handed over the televisions on behalf of Ooredoo Maldives at a special ceremony held at Bandaarakoshi today. Minister of Defence Mariya Ahmed Didi received TVs on behalf of MNDF.

The TVs donated by Ooredoo were donated by the company to facilitate watching the World Cup inside military bases ahead of the upcoming World Cup and to support the efforts of the armed forces.

The Defence Minister has held discussions with several stakeholders to get TVs for MNDF. Ooredoo Maldives was the first company to respond to her request. The company donated five TVs to MNDF today.

Speaking on the occasion, Maria expressed her gratitude to Ooredoo Maldives for its support to the Maldivian armed forces in various fields. The company has also provided significant contributions to armed forces in various fields as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the past.

In addition, noting that the company has always maintained a strong relationship with MNDF, Mariya expressed her gratitude to Her Highness Fathima Sultan Al Khawairi, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ooredoo, Khalid Al Hamadi, and the entire team working in the Maldives.
