Ministry of Finance has re-announced that they are looking for contractors to develop Hospitals in seven islands, including two islands of Thiladhunmathi.
The islands where the hospital will be developed are HDh. Hanimaadhoo, Sh. Milandhoo, N. Velidhoo, K. Thulusdhoo, ADh. Maamigili, V. Felidhoo and Th. Vilufushi. According to the announcement by Finance Ministry they had previously announced for contractors to develop hospitals in these seven islands, but due to the high cost of the bids submitted to these hospitals, it was decided to re-announce for the bidding.
Supported by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED), Hospitals with a capacity of 30 beds are to be built in these islands. And the process of finding a qualified bidder for the job will be carried out as per the international competitive bidding process.
In addition, as a bid security USD35000 must be kept and bid submission and opening will be held on December 7.
